Editorial Policies

 
The Journal of Poznan University of Technology, Organization and Management series is published semi-annually.
Articles are published in English.
All scientific papers published in the journal are put through the double-blind review process, which means both the authors and the reviewers don’t know each other’s identity.
The journal has a submission fee, therefore the authors pay a fee when submitting the article. Payment does not imply a positive review and is not tantamount to acceptance for print.
The editorial staff applies an open access policy, which means free availability on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access..
The Journal of Poznan University of Technology, Organization and Management series is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0/legalcode). Submitting an article for review means consent to its availability under this license.


COPYRIGHT INFORMATION: The Authors retain unrestricted copyrights and publishing rights. Granting the right of first publication to a publisher is not considered a restriction.

The editorial board uses anti-plagiarism system - Plagiat.pl. The system ensures a transparent anti-plagiarism procedure and relies on extensive comparative databases: resources of the global Internet, the Legal Acts Database, the Refbooks database - a multi-million database of scientific texts, mainly in Polish and English, protected by copyright, from all fields of science and culture, and the Database of works and scientific publications which are a collection of scientific works and publications of universities and other institutions participating in the free Database Exchange Program. Anti-plagiarism analysis facilitates the assessment of the independence of the examined text and indicates the number of borrowed fragments and gives their source. The result of the anti-plagiarism analysis is an accurate, transparent and resistant to editorial manipulation Similarity Report. All submitted articles must first undergo positive verification in the anti-plagiarism system (maximum 15%) before they are subjected to the selection and review process.

The journal’s high scientific standards are reflected in the number of points awarded in the announcement of the Minister of Education and Science from 17 July 2023. According to this list, articles published in the Journal of Poznan University of Technology, Organization and Management series are awarded 70 points.
