Currently, enterprises operate in a turbulent environment. This is related to the progress-ing globalization processes, the development of the knowledge-based economy, supported by the development of advanced technologies. Therefore, managers are forced to take ac-tions aimed at increasing the flexibility of the organization. The identification of sources of building and achieving competitive advantage are concentrated around factors that can pro-vide this flexibility. They are so-called soft enterprise resources, mainly related to its intel-lectual capital. The purpose of the article is to discuss the importance of trust in the company, both in-ternal and external. In addition, it contains the results of own research on the assessment of the level of trust in enterprises belonging to the high-tech industries in Wielkopolska Re-gion. ...
