ABSTRACT
High levels of air temperature and humidity, the large mass of the transferred equipment are basic risks beyond the risk of explosion of methane of work-related mining rescuers. The article presents results of a research study conducted in the laboratory for two variants of clothing developed for mining rescuers and one kind of respiratory protective device at two levels of ambient temperature and moderate physical work intensity. A duration of the exercise to achieve the physiological limits of the internal temperature, heart rate or completion of the study because of subjective reasons was compared between studies conducted at two levels of air temperature. Differences in the intensity of sweating, level of sweat accumulated in clothing, heat accumulation and subjective ratings of the thermal state at mentioned variants of environment conditions were also described.
