The article begins with the presentation of the essence of sustainable development. It describes the conditions for the creation of this concept and shows its various definitions. The concept of sustainable development has been shown from the point of view of Polish legal acts and documents of the European Union. Mode of action has been proposed, which shows how to meet the challenges of sustainable development. It also includes specific areas and tasks associated with this concept. The next part of the paper describes the issues related to eco driving. It describes the general information on this topic and its main principles. Then describes the process of implementation of eco driving in a particular company. Subsequently there are list of advantages which are achievable after implementing the solution.
