ABSTRACT
The article was meant to present the growing (developing) idea of Zero Landfill as a trend in enviromental protection which is a basic of Corporate Social Responsibility. The first part of the article concerned the definition of Corporate Social Responsibility according to the ISO 26000 norm and it’s core activity (business). Another issue that is covered in this part of the article is the conception of Zero Landfill along with it’s precursor. The next part of the article lists steps necessary to succeed in implementation of the Zero-waste program and then moves to discuss the necessity of cooperation in the supply chain during the implementation of said program. The article also highlights the changing perception of Supply chain as a cycle of deliveries along with Outsourcing, which is a vital factor in the successful implementation of Zero-waste conception. Finally, there is a short comparsion of exemplary implementations of aforementioned conception along with the description of the most popular applications of said model in Poland.
