ABSTRACT
The aim of the paper is to identify the possibilities of improving the stroke treatment process using management methods and undertaking improvement actions on the example of the treatment process of patients with ischemic stroke. It also describes the relationship between social and environmental aspects of the functioning of healthcare facilities. Particu-lar attention was paid to complex methods including feedback through the influence of the external environment on the treatment process conditioned by demographic and environ-mental factors. Inductive reasoning using desk research method as well as non-participant interviews and observations were used in the work. As the dominant paradigm, the assump-tion was made to strive to meet goals for the economies of developing countries that con-sider social, economic and ecological cohesion.
