ABSTRACT
The aim of the article is to define the strength of the project team subculture and to formulate a research hypothesis that relates the relationship between the four characteristics of the project and the strength of the project team subculture. Based on the analysis of the literature on the subject, it has been shown that the uniqueness of each project and its unique character in a given organization makes it impossible to formulate a coherent list of norms and values of the project team subculture, and it seems more reasonable to perceive the project team subculture in its relation to organizational culture. On the basis of the four dimensions of the project described in the literature, the relationship between the character-istics of the project and the strength of the project team subculture was determined. The need to verify the research hypothesis was shown. The hypothesis assumes that with the weakness of the project features, the team subculture should be weak, which means that the sharp contrast between repetitive management and project management is not always justi-fied. Depending on the distinguished subcultural factors, norms and values in the project team subculture may therefore be more or less different from those in the organizational culture. ...
