ABSTRACT
Nowadays one can observe a growing interest of entrepreneurs in working conditions. It is due to the awareness of an increase in the productivity of employees thanks to providing them with ergonomic work places and tools of the trade, which are adapted to their anthropometric features. Studies which are aimed at analysing workstations with regard to ergonomics are conducted more and more often. Also, new work places which help to reduce workload during the performance of work are being designed. Thus, there is a growing significance of programs that design ergonomic anthropometric systems, which allow specialists to show employers benefits of forming workstations in accordance with biomechanics of man. Such programs also facilitate design of workstations and tools of the trade. The programs vary with regard to acceptable criteria and the specificity of conducted analysis as well as the cost of application and the form of reporting line. The goal of this article is to present the most popular programs used to design ergonomic anthropometric systems and to show similarities and differences in their application.
