The goal of this article is to present different factors influencing the acceleration of the development of students’ transversal competences also the presentation of chosen results after testing one of the process that accelerate the development of transversal competence. The research were done in international project under the name „The acceleration method of development of transversal competences in the students’ practical training process”. It was held by 6 universities form 4 EU countries based on processes that were designed in the project and tested among the students. Each process had at minimum three teaching methods that had been discovered and described at the beginning of the project. The results of research shows, that the main factors influencing the development of transversal competences are those connected with teaching method
