ABSTRACT
The aim of the article is to assess systemic measures in the area of health services, education and social security for the disabled, and to investigate the importance of social campaigns on behalf of them. Analysis of the literature and empirical research was conducted. It was found that further modifications to the system of care are necessary. Assistance has to be provided on a continuous basis with the cooperation of all state departments. Disability awareness activities are viewed positively by society and are educational but they are far too few.
