ABSTRACT
According to the Central Institute for Labour Protection the greatest number of accidents at work occurs in the manufacturing sector. Accidents occur during the usage of machine equipment (50%), machinery cleaning operations (approximately 25%) and maintenance and repair (about 25%). The article presents the application of the HAZOP method for identifying hazards during maintenance work performed on the UV lacquering line.
