ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of digital humanoid models in the optimization of the work of forklift truck operators. The creation of safe and healthy working conditions is an important issue in the organization of the work. According to the authors of the study, this goal can be achieved by the application of digital humanoid models in the analysis of forklift truck ergonomics. The results of the research can be used to create an optimal relationship between the supported device and the studied forklift operators who have certain anthropometric variables. The analysis of the burden on the osteoarticular system and muscles of two forklift truck operators, using the 3DSSPP application, will allow employers to take steps to minimize and eliminate burdensome factors in the work environment. Actions in this regard may be introduced during the design process (conceptual ergonomics), or through the implementation of new solutions in the organization of work (e.g. providing supervision during transport and other types of work). In most cases, these actions do not necessarily incur high costs.
