On the modern market, many products and services exist that meet the needs of society in a similar or identical fashion, but which differ in their “soft” features, generally referred to as their user-friendliness. With regard to technical products, these features can be called their ergonomic quality. The article describes the procedure of making ergonomic recommendations of consumer products, which may be the basis for the development of procedures for recommending production or service processes. The purpose of introducing ergonomic product recommendations, to be carried out by a group of experts appointed by the Polish Ergonomics Society (PTErg), is to persuade designers and manufacturers of consumer products (as well as other industrial products) to pay more attention to the ergonomic quality of these products.
